Nottingham Forest: Where are they now?

Hello dear blog readers,

One of you asked me to blog about today’s topic. So I’d like to recall the best Forest players of my first 3 years in Nottingham Forest. Where are they now? What do they do? In particular, I am interested in the initial squad I had at the start.

Yes, it’s going to be a little bit sentimental blog post :)

Class of 2012

One the most flamboyant seasons because I had first experiences with FM 2013, managed totally original Forest squad during the first season half, unexpectedly promoted to the Premier League from play-offs.

Chris Cohen, Simon Cox, Jamaal Lascelles and then Thomas Drage were my favourites.

One of the most talented players was Henry Lansbury, Arsenal academy graduate. This is how he looks now in 2020:

Class of 2013

In season two, Destro, Alexander Milosevic, Mikkel Diskerud arrived to Forest. They were wonderkids at that moment and play for big clubs now as you see.

Class of 2014

In that season Nottm Forest managed to win the 6th line in the table and qualify into Europa League. That was fantastic taking into consideration my starting plan to promote from Championship into PL in 3 seasons!

Ukrainian Yaroslav Rakitskyi, Ademilson, good old Jermaine Defoe helped a lot to achieve the success.

Best eleven: Overall

In the end I want to share with you my current best eleven. There are some experienced English players like Lascelles, Cohen, Hughes and some new names, mostly regens. Look at the average rating of Mitchell Hewitt! 7.97 after 168 matches! Can you brag about something like that from your FM story? :)
