Season 7. Youngsters promoted to the first squad

Dear blog readers,

Quick posting today. I have four names representing young talented footballers from Nottm Forest reserves. All of them were bought 2-3 seasons ago and now it’s time to give them some chances. They are:

  • wonderkid central midfielder Allan Cleland
  • last year’s best Championship goal scorer John McLeish
  • promising ring and central back Stepen Kavanagh
  • young French goalie Kevin Prevost

Alan Cleland – MC, DMC

Despite the young age I feel it’s time to promote this marvellous wonderkid into the first team. You see his attributes. Should I comment anything? :)

Now I will have a nice trio of young Scotsmen in the centre: Allan Cleland, Mo Cairns, Dean Paterson.

John McLeish – SC

I have two more promising forwards in the reserves: Tim Witt and Jim McLair. However, John McLeish had beautiful season on loan in Blackburn. He scored 30 goals in 46 Championship matches. He did deserve his chance in the first team and I feel that underperforming during trainings Mason Bennett will be forced out at all…

Stephen Kavanagh – DR, DC

Kavanagh is a versatile defender who showed good progress during last year. Now he is ready for big match experience in Premier League. In fact, Stephen has high mental skills and other DC attributes. The only thing he lacks is passing.

Passing=6 is too low for defenders in my team. That’s why I’ve just switched his training focus to Ball Playing Defender.

Kevin Prevost - GK

He will be my third goalie. Sure it’s very likely Prevost can eventually request putting him on a transfer or loan list. But I hope it won’t happen soon.

So how do you like these talents? Are they worth to play in the first team of Nottingham Forest?

Next post will be about summer transfer campaign. I am almost ready with it now. Thank you for following the blog.

Excited to blog for you,
