Hello my dear readers,
I am truly excited to present you the third season results. As you see we managed to hold on the 6th line in the table what gives us right to play in Europe next year.
As a bonus, I was awarded with $30M and became the 3rd head coach of Premier League.
Premier League
So here’s the final table standing. If you follow my pictures and videos blog at FM Crowd, you should that intrigues had been keeping till the last fixture. Finally, Forest won over WBA at home with the confident 3:1 score. It’s very pleasant that all goals were scored by my key performers this season: Drage, Lascelles, Defoe…
The last PL fixtures for Nottingham Forest look very well:
There was only one unexpected loss of points when we didn’t manage to win against Leicester. Luckily, so much desired 6th position didn’t evade from us because of that.
Aston Villa hammered by Forest. Once again.
Remember I was reporting about the 5:0 away victory over Aston Villa in the first season half? It’s a history repeating. Exactly the same score, exactly the same total advantage. I believe it’s due to their poor 4-4-2 formation with 2 defensive central midfielders instead classic MCs. Villa’s head coach Tony Mowbray prefers this ugly player positioning on the pitch. Though they managed to take the middle table position after all, so perhaps it’s not so poor…
Watch all five goals!
My first victory over Southampton
At last I managed to grab a win against Southampton, one of the most inconvenient opponents in the Premier League. The win is remarkable not only for 3:1 away score but also for beauty of first two goals scored by “double-header” from Alexander Milosevic and effort from Brazilian talent Ademilson.
First draw against Man Utd
But the most essential and pleasant match was when The Red Devils visited Nottingham. Manchester United has been constantly and confidently beating my Forest till this game. This time my defenders and fantastic saves by Carlos Kameni allowed to get the first point against him.
Forest players
Firstly I’d like to start telling you Tom Cleverley blended into squad and is considered as impressible capture by board and fans. The former Man Utd player didn’t make any miracles. He just showed an attacking football I do like getting forward often.
All Forest players sorted by average rating:
Carlos Kameni is wanted by Q.P.R.
Mitchell Hewitt is wanted by Liverpool, Newcastle, and West Brom.
Our attack leader Mattia Destro missed April and May matches due to injury. It was an excellent chance for Ademilson who seized on that showing very good performances in the end of the season.
Alexander Milosevic – best Forest player of the year
His stats:
Now some personal awards from me
| Best newcomer 1. Yaroslav Rakitskyi 2. Jermaine Defoe 3. Neil Eardley | Best U21 player 1. Jamaal Lascelles 2. Mitchell Hewitt 3. Will Hughes |
| MVP 1. Alexander Milosevic 2. Thomas Drage 3. Mattia Destro | Surprize of the season 1. Mitchell Hewitt 2. Alexander Milosevic 3. Jose Baxter |
Board confidence
The board is happy – me too :)

Club reputation list refreshed
Strangely Nottm Forest reputation didn’t increase anyhow. Why is my club so low in this table after all? I don’t understand.
Season summary
Pay attention to the green rectangles. Jermaine Defoe was merely awesome for his age (32) and speed (Pace=12, Acceleration=14). Experienced poacher managed to score as many as Mattia Destro. That’s why he became the signing of the season.
By the way, you may notice Derby qualified to the Premier League. So we will have great battles with our fierce rivals next season. Luckily, they sold Will Hughes to my Forest one year ago :)
The next post will contain detailed information about Nottingham Forest squad. I’ll try to figure out the most weak areas that need strengthening.
Excited to blog for you,
