My FA Cup hopes

Dear friends,

I am going to write quite short posts during 2 upcoming weeks before FM 2012 demo release. Want to concentrate on playing Boston in FM 2011.

And this time I would like emphasize on the results in FA Cup. It was my last chance to get to Europa League this season. But we can’t do no more than one can…

Played matches

Though tough Newcastle was quite confidently defeated in the 5th round. Wolves didn’t allow Boston to qualify to the semi finals:

Against Wolves

As you see it was nearly a comeback… On the one hand I can say this FA Cup quarterfinal is the best result in the Boston history. On the other hand - I got much better result in the away match against Wolves in the Premier League:

Wolves - Boston United 1:4

Premier League

We are on the 11th position with having already a big gap between us and top half teams. It’s impossible to get Europa League position…

Boston players

Boston players

Worst ones

Again and again Brazilian Robson becomes the best player of the reported period. I’ve already got used to it.  Therefore I won’t post information about him now. It’s time for the forward who surprized me in his debut season - Giannis Mavridis.

Giannis Mavridis

This explosive striker came from Barcelona. I don’t feel he had already blended into the team completely. But Mavridis performs better and better overcoming even wonderkid striker Esteban Stivan!

Last matches in the season

Last matches

8 fixtures left. Actually they decide nothing for Boston United. We cannot jump higher than 10th position, we can’t go below the 16th one. I want to play the last matches as quickly as possible because I dream to be in time with the next season till FM 2012 release. This is the reason why I made hard-edged decision to go on holiday till the season end! It will a time saving trick. I hope my assistant manager will not drop Boston United too much…
