Today I would like to share additional information about my first season in Football Manager 2010. I described you my Leeds and League 1 results in the previous post. And now here are some screenshots regarding other (more interesting 
) tournaments. In my opinion it would be interesting for you to compare final results of the first FM2010 season in your game with these ones:
Premier League
My favourite club – Arsenal - won Premier League too easy. Maybe some players of The Gunners are overrated by FM researchers…
Championship
Newcastle lost play-off final to Reading and didn’t manage to return back to Premier League… Leeds will met them in the next season!
FA Cup final
League Cup final
Poor Ballack and Alex…

I am surprised by the 3rd position of Getafe!
Seria A
Roma won Seria A quite confidently.
Champions League final
Finally, Barcelona lost Champions League final together with the Spanish League to Real Madrid.
Euro League final
Romanian club was about to make a sensation!
World Cup 2010 results
In the end I want to inform that the national team of Italy got World Cup 2010 in very tight final with Spain. Obvious surprise of the tournament is Switzerland with bronze.

Thanks, quite interesting suprised to see Inter finish tenth in serie a. Also arsenal are always the best team in the prem on FM. They are always overrated.
Vitalyi, let me ask you something, are you getting any problems with injuries in your game? Because I'm managing Lazio, and I tried everything, but my players just keep getting injuries, its way too weird. Trainings aren't heavy (I even lightened them a little more, but I was using the same intensity for Brazilian Serie A and no problems), my physio is good so I kinda dunno what to do. All of my star players keep going to the medical staff, so its getting pretty hard to play, There was a match where 7 of my first team players were injured!
If you can help me I'd appreciate.
The idea that Arsenal are overrated by the FM researchers is interesting, but for whatever reason in the first season of my game they only finished 5th in th league, winning no trophies at all. In the second season they dropped to 5th, again winning nothing. So there is some other factor as well that determines how well a club is doing.
Someone definitely overrated in the game is Nani of Man Utd. In real life this season he has been very poor. Maybe I'm harsh, given Fergie keeps playing him, so I guess there must be potential there, if he can just find a way to show it on the pitch.

Don't think that Arsenal is overrated. In my game in the 4th season they finished 17th and after that never got better than 10th place. And even in the first 3 seasons they never finished in the among the top 3.
hi i started as manager of southend and had a really good season finishing fourth but losing in the playoff final to yeovil. leeds won the league only losing one game and drawing 3. biggest surprise was alex ferguson getting sacked due to a fourth place finish and not even a semi final in any cups. i applied and got the job. just brought rene adler in goal and aguero for the wing. currently in December and in second place 1 point behind chelsea. arsenal on the other hand are 17th. wenger just got the sack and van basten has taken over. they havent sold anybody major and only brought hargreaves off me. biggest transfer was kaka to inter for 75million. and ribery to barcelona for 52million. barcelona also brought modric from spurs for 34million bit much i think. also loving the site well done.
how come on the premier league table, liverpool are highlighted?

u wudnt believe it but spurs won d prem in my 1st season i got leeds promoted like yourself and about to embark on my 2nd season in d championship nd with promotion odds of 12/1 i got a chance
Arsenal got relegated after my 5th season, they could'nt find a good manager to suceed wenger, fabregas got snappped up by Everton who got taken over!
I think Liverpool is highlighted because it's leeds parent club.

i didnt install the patch 1.1. and also in 2nd or 3rd season had very big problems with injuries, it would be grat to install patch,but i dont want to lose my game

WTF?! Inter finished 10th?! So realistic...
Interesting results there. I see Burnley went down. Strangely they cam 15th in my game, pretty comfortably as well. As a Newcastle fan it was disappointing to see them come 5th and lose. I have been managing and I came top which I was delighted with. 3rd in the Premier League now after 5 games. Arsenal also won the league but only by a point. I do think they are overrated though. Liverpool also came 6th on my game too. Good luck with your second season!
tt, when they bought him did it say the chairman thought the offer was too good or anything like that? the times i have enquired about players and have been quoted ridiculous prices yet managed to pick them up for a fraction of the price is unreal!! also spurs won the league in my last 3 new games! with man u struggling to get in top 3.

def feel Arsenal players are individually brilliant, has someone (Vela, Van Persie, Nasri) always seems to carve me open when I play them. but they don't always seem to click and lose easy games and don't finish as high as they did in yours.
I played as Villa and finished 2nd in my first season, behind United. I signed Miguel Veloso for £8.5m to sure up the Gareth Barry absence and he worked miracles with Petrov holding my midfield. City finished 3rd, Chelsea 4th, Arsenal 5th, tottenham 6th and Liverpool. 7th. Tottenham and Chelsea are dominating my second season and Liverpool and Arsenal are both below 12th. Signed Oscar Cordozo as a target striker to replace Carew and he is sensational. Loving FM 10 and just annoyed we had to wait until October for it to come out!
I know it doesnt fit in this category but if i delete my save can i get it back?

there is an opportunity to buy a player using post transfer monthly payments. So you can spend less money during transfer window on that or another player
It's no surprise for me that Getafe got 3th place in the Primera Division.
They have great players like Soldado, Albin, Cate Diaz, Ustari, Pedro Leon and Casquero. With some transfers and a little luck I managed to get them #1 in the league!! :D

I play with Man City and Getafe ofered me Soldado for only 9.5 mil euro and he scored in 2 season of premier league 32 goals and season 2 it`s not over yeat and him have scored 17 goals !

Im getting fucking sick of 1 shot 1 goal 2 shots 2 goals 3 shots 3 goals, the computer scores with every shot ffs! just played Watford away with boro, im 2-0 up and half time and the game finishes up 4-2 12 shots to the cup 4 on target, 12 shots by me 9 on target, and they have conceded 70 goals in 38 games, it happens far too often cpu always scores as many goals as it has shots, pisses me off.
switzerland don't surprise me, they always overachieve in world cups on football manager 09 and 10
