My Staff in Football Manager 2010

Some of you asked me about the staff I signed for Leeds United in Football Manager 2010. So this is what you expected to know:

image

As you see I didn’t cut down expenses paying totally $1.1M for those staff members who were transferred from other clubs.

From the other hand it’s pretty hard to retain good coaches because some Premier League clubs offer contracts with high wages to them sometimes.  Fulham and Wolves tempted 2 scouts as well as Arsenal did the same with one of my important coaches Sad I tried to offer better contracts to them but no success…

Training categories and stars in FM 2010

It seems to me that it’s a pretty good result for Championship. I have five 4-star ratings in training categories and this fact should really help in training and development of Leeds players.

By the way, If you have any 4.5 star coaches on your mind who could probably agree to sign contract with Championship club then tell me, please. It would be very helpful!

    Hi
    Try these guys:
Manuel Delgado Meco 4.5* fitness(have to be signed as a coach)
    Julen Masach 4* fitness
    Kevin Ball 4.5* defending coach
Problem is that I signed them when my leeds was in PRM. But maybe you will be able to sign them.

    Hi,

Can you post your training schedule for fm2010 please?

    Thank you

  3. Rags Says:

Portsmouth youth coach Mark Chamberlain, brilliant for ball control

  4. Hjorts tænketank Says:

I've heard that the skills like motivation are very important for the coaches to improve the players.

  5. TheZiggy Says:

Angelo Peruzzi my come to Leeds, and gives 4.5 star rating in tactics.

Most astonishing thing though in my game is that Brian Clair declared an interested in joining QPR, giving me 4.5 stars in attacking, and is also in charge of my under 18 matches. I never thought I'd get him.

It's hard work finding good coaches that will join, and seems to be even harder at times trying to stop other clubs poaching them from you.

    hi,

can you please post how to use the instructions that you give from the bench...

thanks and well done for your leeds promotion..

  7. TheZiggy Says:

Hjorts, you're right. Motivating, Determination and Level Of Discipline are very important.

Without those at good level, a coach is not going to be good.

A very useful tool is linked from this Blog Post: Coach Calculator

It allows you to check exactly how good a coach is, which saves you from signing a poor coach by mistake. It's still hard work to track down the good coaches.

I think a scout- Nicky Hammond can come. he has high scouting attributes.

  9. wilson0712 Says:

it's very very hard to retain the coaches... i'm currently coaching bayern munich and have the exactly same problem with u... the other bundesliga clubs simply tempt them away... the only way is to sign another good coach... and renew their contract early...

  10. Jakob la Cour Says:

Paul Whinsper of some American club is a beast of a psycical coach. 4,5 stars

  11. Jakob la Cour Says:

Paul Winsper of Toronto FC. Currently have him on the staff of Newcastle in the first season.

Good posts, tactics, and other downloads etc. awesome job, mate!

  30. MAL Says:

    Hi Vitally

In FM08 I used to do individual training schedules for players, you know the type, high physical attributes so reduce physical training and give more technical training etc...

Just wondered what your approach was too this, whether you made individual training attributes or even made a better collective one?

Another thing I heard of was creating a harsh fitness regime one for pre-season... what do you think?
