HullTransfers of January 2013 (Hull story)
Many football clubs were pretty active during winter transfer window in my Hull game.
I’m mostly interested in transfers done by English clubs because it influences on our competition for the places in top 6 of Premier League. Luckily there are not so many such transfers.
Ben Arfa came to strengthen Arsenal that is the best English team anyway. Chelsea decided that they need good central midfielder in Cigarini’s image paying even $21M for him. Moreover, they bought Marouane Fellaini for $15.5M. Ok, we will see.
Manchester United bought very useful AMC who is in my shortlist now – Steven Defour. Belgian didn’t get to the first squad of Chelsea but managed to start with several goals and assists in Man Utd! Though they sold their best central defender Nemanja Vidic to Barcelona – I don’t really understand this decision… 
You may also see Manchester City has certainly strengthened defence buying quick Ashley Cole. By the way, Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal are the most complicated teams to for Hull. It’s very hard to gain points in matches with them.
Regarding my transfer policy I can say that I bought only 17-year MC for some $600K. And there is no need to show his attributes because he went to U18 team. So Hull squad remains stable this year!

i'm interrest about matias fernandez transfer to real madrid...how much madrid pay for him vitaliy?? i always want to sign him in my game with wolves, but i always failed. it's true his stats is outstanding in FM 2009 & i'm wondering if he is really good in real life.
actually, i realy loves to compare the player in FM 2009 & in real life. for example is felipe mello (fiorentina), his skill is average, but in real life, barcelona, inter & milan want him!!! i hope fiorentina doesn't sell him. i want to see him with a new stats when i managing fiorentina in FM 2010. :)
As time goes by, some transfer cannot be explained. Maybe the AI of those managers are not properly planned to give human players a chance to buy good players.
Anyway, as times goes by Man Utd will surely go down to 4-10 position.

Felipe, the most costly transfer, is he the Santos goalkeeper? Or a different Felipe?

Vidic... Seriously, it's really a lost for Man Utd, and also, now there's speculation of Vidic transferring to Barca for 25M. funny.
you now need 2 start buying better quality players. sell your fringe players and get good players such as lisandro lopez, vagner love, raul mareiles, bruno alves, simao .......

Hey, Vitaliy, do you ever set any opposition instructions before a match? It doesn't seem to make too much of a difference when I do and don't set it.
Also, my Assistant Manager always gives me this feedback:
Tight Marking - *no specifics*
Tackling - Hard - Everybody (even the goalkeeper!)
Closing down - Always - Midfielders only (DM/MC/AML-C-R)
Force onto foot - Weaker - Midfielders and forwards only

as for me it's not really good advice. Hard tackling can bring you a lot of problems if referee is of harsh character, for instance.
I've made note to write post about opposition instructions.
Vitaliy, Felipe (DC) from Udinese is really good. Actually Udinese produces alot of good players, example Sanchez.
Thou with the attribute of Tackling 18/19 , heading 18, i find his pace of 14 abit slow when he tries to catch up with attackers like walcott.
I prefer Sakho more.... thou in my game it's no longer possible as he joined some big European club.
