Assistant report and current main squad
Several weeks ago some of you, my dear readers, asked me to post the assistant report and current main squad. So here you can see it:
Assistant reports
Senior Line-up from assistant manager:
It mostly the same as my current my squad that you can see on the lowest screen shot in this post. Apart from one position of left attacking midfielder. Interesting that my assistant manager considers Helder Barbosa being better that Diego Buonanotte for this position!
Youth line-up:
Oh these prospective youngsters… The most successive of them are Branislav Zivkovic, Bartocz Salamon, Mark Cooper and Eduardo Garcia Alvarez. They play in the main team sometimes. Though they usually start game on a substitution bench.
Current main squad
In my mind there are three the most competitive positions:
- DC: between Rusol and Pashaev
- DMC: between Shakhov and Plessis
- MC: between O’Brien and Barazite
Hope this information was interesting for you! ![]()

Hi mate,
I have also tried to play with this formation, but i have alot of difficulty trying to pass the ball up to the lone striker in front.
You playing Long or direct ball?
Any chance you can post Barazite's stats up?
Cheers
He only sees barbosa as a better player for the position. Buonanatte is an overall better player and if you still use wingers as you did a few seasons before i havent a doubt he is the best player for the position.
just a small remark...its bartoSz salamon, not bartoCz.not a big thing but its not the first time when you misspelled his name...so from now on you will know:)
great blog
cheers
radek(PL)
Vitaly, any chance you could add the Leicester squad to a future post, interesting to see there climb
Hi vitaly.
I like to use a target man on most of my games and opt for a striker with good heading and strength attributes. Do you use the target man in your games? And if so do you think a pacey forward can be used as a target man?
cheers sam
the star system is pretty stupid anyway, on my game it tells me that aaron ramsey is the best Centre Mid even tho he is competing with diego, xabi alonso, miguel veloso and a generated player (forgot his name) and veloso is clearly the best CM/DCM on the game. good luck this season anyway, my laptops broke so i havnt played this in about 3 weeks :(
I want to ask what is the point of having many leagues in a game?
Žygimantas, the leagues you choose are the ones you can manage a team from, for example if you dont select Russia you cant select Zenit St.Petersburg
Hey Vitaly, long time reader, and this is one of my only posts.
Check out Thiago Neves, Skjelbred, Onyekachi Apam and Konstantin Rausch. They're very good. Ayila Yussuf could help you in CB, too.
If you do Leceister, could you have a peak at Swansea, please?
Many leagues give a wider variety of players for example if you don't have england you may not have the likes of jack wilshere or other youngsters
You have a good team Vitaly. You should try and bring in a pacey defender, that has great tackling and marking skills. Heading should be around 14 or 15. A great strong defender and a mobile one is a great partnership.
Good Luck and I hope that you qualify for the Champions League
Sakho is a great defender and only 23-24 in your game.
Hello again Vitaly! Haven't spoken to you for a while.
In my QPR game, I bought Andriy Rusol for around £5.5m and at the age of 29 now, he is not that good to be honest. Worth £4m and my coaches say that he is only decent for most Premier League sides. I am 4th in the league at the moment and in the quarter final of the UEFA Cup so I will need a very good central defender. Can you give me some information on how he is doing for you?
Oh and if you need a top class CB, buy Sokratis Papastathopoulos. A mouthful, but a very very good player, who has scored 8 goals for me this season!
Regards, Mike.
Hi LiamTheWelshman,
I also bought a Thiago (DC), not too sure if he's the same person. But i just sold him for $68 million pounds to Arsenal in early 2014. Pat Rice bought him, when i listed him for $70 million...
Amazing...
A good DL will be Oliva under 18 Argentina Captain (but with poor heading). when I bought him in free transfer ..i think so, cannot really remember that clearly, and I sold him to Man City for $34 million at age 23/24, also in 2014 after my Southampton won the Treble.
My current toughest rival will be Liverpool, with Torres and Bezema in front....
Daniel,
I use short passing in my Hull tactics
radek,
thanks for explaining how to write Salamon's name :)
Sam,
I don't use Target Man in my tactics. However I think it's possible to use him successfully - but I'm not sure whether it would be better.
Quick forward can also be a target man. You should just set up passing to "Run into Ball" for him
Žygimantas,
on my mind the most important point of using many leagues is better competition in European cups! If I turn on only English PL it would mean that Italian, Spanish, French and so on clubs are more weak and have less possibilities to develop...
the tigers survived!!
hope they can loaned in many decent players next season..
their story so far similar to wigan, sunderland..so inspiring!
Hi vitaliy,
i also try your formation but i have a problem the Left MC, nobody in my team play well in that position ( i'm Man City, i have G barry, Moutinho, Inler , M. Johnson, Ireland in MC ) can you suggest best player in left MC position?
