Hull4th season has started: Marquinhos, Buonanotte and Rusol!
Today I am going to continue my Hull story in a quite unusual order. At first you will know about the best players of the first part of the season. I have singled out three of them in the topic of this post: Marquinhos, Buonanotte and Rusol. These three turned to be leaders of my Hull in the starting 15 matches! 
Marquinhos and Rusol received “English Premier Division Player of the Month” award in September and October. They both have 3 MoM awards and average rating higher than 7.25:
Marquihnos impresses with his dribbling on speed, creativity and unexpected solutions. Certainly gem player for any club in Football Manager 2009! 
Andriy Rusol is the best defender of the starting part of the season mostly because of his scoring (yes-yes, scoring) abilities. He started to score much during corners. I didn’t change player instructions during corners – it seems that he has gone through adaptation period in the previous season (it was his first season in our team) and feels better to score goals using his jumping and heading skills.
Diego Buonanotte is very important part of our team. He scored 4 goals and made 6 assists in 14 matches! And he did the most of goals in complicated match situations against strong teams. So Buonanotte is a real leader of Hull now!
Team results
My club is on the 8th line of the table. This fact seems pretty good to me because I have some problems with my players. One of them is, of course, an adaptation of many new young players that were signed in before the season. Only Marqiunhos and partially Genero Zeefuik have already understood how to play with Hull oldbies. Waiting for others! 
The second problem can be seen on the next picture:
It’s about results in away matches, about away tactics. I have been still experimenting with my tactical approach during away games. Though my last experimental scheme was very successful in the away match against Manchester United (leaders of the league!). It was the most prominent match result in Hull’s history!!! 
Difficult game and two beautiful goals of Zeefuik and Marquinhos after terrific team combinations! You should take a look on these goals:
It’s for sure that I am also proud with performance and results of matches with Liverpool (5:2 victory) and Tottenham (4:1 in PL and away 1:0 in League Cup). I don’t know but maybe in this season we can even manage to get a Champions League position! 
Sure it depends on our away results. If they become positive and stable then dreams may come true!
The most negative thing happened in the home match against Blackburn in the League Cup. It was that kind of match when you have advantage controlling game during both halfs but miss unexpected goal and your players are unlucky to score in response. It’s a pity…

Hey Vitaly :) you are doing very very well, congratulations on the Marquinos and Rusol captures, they end up being brilliant in 2013 (former Sweden game), Rusol being worth an amazing £40m! But maybe you can make him worth more ;)

hi, sorry if im posting this in the wrong place im new to this site, im having a problem with my fm09 i go to open the game and a box saying "not well-formed (invalid token)"
ive uninstalled the game and re-downloaded it again and i still have the problem can anybody help me please?
Anonymous, with your problem, are you running your game on Steam or the other one? I had loads of problems on Steam, so when I uninstalled and reinstalled, I selected the other one, I recommend you do the same.
But I am not like an expert on these problems so look for other advice first.

vitaily I have a question about blogs i am trying to make my own and when I get a html code from a blogger template website it always says i can not comment i can do everything else what should i do?
Anonymous, when I bought the game, there was an option to download. Steam or another company via phone. When you try and reinstall it choose the other company. Dont worry you dont have to phone them, its a usual way to download, but it solved all my gaming problems.

Not if you copy/save your save game somewhere else. Then you can just put it back into the games folder and tada!
Good to see how well you are playing and unlucky with those away results. I find that creating a formation which rarely concedes away from home is very difficult especially against teams of a similar level to your own. Could you show us how your other players are getting on aswell? I am surprised ramires hasnt been performing!
Could someone help? in the middle of a match does anyones computer open the internet? it's really annoying!!

I would say that Ramires is in quite good form and I like the way he performs. Very consistent player.
But he managed to do 2 fouls that brought to penalties. So his average rating was influenced by low ratings of 2 matches with these penalties.

use tottenham in the first update because they have a pretty good team and have a starting budget of up to 40mill

i know it would seem like copying vitaly but hull is a great club to manage. second season has a great budget. this is in the new patch where they have manucho and bullard

Was doing really well with Carlisle in the premiership in first season but going into last 12/13 games I cant hold onto a lead and thats only if I manage to get one!!! Dunno whats gone wrong becoz nothings chnaged and ive got some key playrs back from injury e.g Mihelic, Mattock but its gone downhill. Im still 9th which is fantastic for my 1st season with a club the size of Carlisle but afew games ago i was battling out the last champs league spot and uefa cup spots!!!
Glad to see Hull performing so well in the Premier League. I think you're i n the right path to achieve your season expections!
I'm also curious to know how Hélder Barbosa is adapting in your team, since in the 2 different saves I played his performances always far exceeded my expections.
Meanwhile,keep up the good work and I'm confident you'll soon workout your problems with the away matches!
Helder Barbosa is in a quite good form now. I like his dribbling, crossing and speed
well done, you are doing well this season. i am pleased that you have bought Marquinhos as he is an amazing player. Great mix of players in your team so if you get your tactics right you have every chance of qualifying for Europe. And also, can I ask that you post your assistant team report just too see how good your players are compared to your expectations.
