Hull has started in Coca-Cola Championship almost perfectly

If you are one of those who follows Hull story you should know that my Hull relegated from the Premier League, but I was not sacked and made the transfer revolution changing the squad completely. So here goes!

I had really good series of starting matches without any loss! And I would divide them into 2 parts: before game with Stoke and after Stoke. Well, may be you would ask me – what’s special in that 0:0 match? The answer is nothing Open-mouthed. The point is in that every second game after that match wasn’t impressive by performance and players collaboration. And there is no surprise – Hull squad was totally renewed, and some time is necessary to make them get accustomed and perform well together.

But after the match against Stoke I felt some increase in the team work and got very nice series of 5 wins in row! One of them (against Ipswich) was truly important. They have quite competitive team that can struggle for Championship title.

And as a result my Hull is on the top:

Hull is on the top of league table

May be it’s too early to say, but it seems like my club will have no problems in getting back to the Premier League Hot.

Hull Players

I like my players much! This squad is certainly better than initial one (from the first season). Look at the players having average rating higher than 7.0:

Hull’s leading star Diego Bounanotte is not in the list because has average rating 6.99 with 4 assists in 8 matches. The reason for that - he got injured for a month. Seems like my “Maradona” needs more time in new team Smile.

Most of all I’m impressed by two wing backs: Kamil Zayatte (DL) and Jonathan Spector (DR). They are very efficient on their flanks having a lot of confident matches. Very cool thing is that in the most of matches they support attacks, make assists sometimes and even shoot strikes. They fit in the tactics I have chosen for the new season very much .

Hull Tactics

Yep, new team – new tactics. Though the new tactics is the old good one (attacking 4-1-4-1 TFM) adapted to Football Manager 2009.

Look at the screenshot (my old readers will recognize the old tactics in it):

Well, I don’t want to tell you a lot about it now Tongue out. Just because I’m on the way to prepare a special post discovering all the secrets of my FM 2009 adapted tactics. It will be the next post. So just wait a bit. It’s going to be New Year present for all of you, my dear readers Wink.
